Enduring Tough Times

To help us endure tough times, here is some prophetic guidance:

The Prophet [SAWS] said,

إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدِهِ الْخَيْرَ عَجَّلَ لَهُ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدِهِ الشَّرَّ أَمْسَكَ عَنْهُ بِذَنْبِهِ حَتَّى يُوَافِيَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

“When Allah wants good for His slave, He hastens the punishments/tests in this world. And when he wants bad for His slave, He delays his punishments/tests due to his sins until he arrives on the Day of Judgement with his sins and gets punished then.”

Don’t Belittle a Good Deed

Bismillah.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said,

“Do not belittle any good deed, even your meeting with your Muslim brother with a cheerful face.” [Muslim]
